Jesusa Ona | Founder
Jesusa holds two Masters’ degrees respectively in Political Science, University of Geneva (2001) and Gender studies, Universities of Geneva and Lausanne (2005). She has professional experience across private, public, international and not for profit sectors. Polyglot, she is fluent in French, English and Spanish. She founded GDECA convinced about the benefits of taking systematically into account gender, diversity and equality across all areas.
In addition to her activities with GDECA, Jesusa works since 2012 as Equal opportunities’ manager at the University of Applied Sciences Western Switzerland-Geneva.
Her equal opportunities’ achievements are:
- Analysis of the institutional management;
- State of the art and actions plans;
- Projects and Programmes management;
- Projects and programmes’ evaluation;
- Building customized tools to implement gender-diversity mainstreaming into institutional projects and programmes
(guidelines, role-plays, etc.); - Fundraising and gender and diversity budgeting;
- Trainings, awareness’ events on subjects such as: well-being at workplace, equitable management and optimizing performance; sexual harassment and mobbing; contextualising business’ culture;

- Equal opportunities’ counselling;
- Presentation and participation in conferences, seminars and workshops;
- Coaching on “Empowerment” and self-esteem.
Abegue Oyono | Communication Manager
International Management graduate, Abegue has professional and volunteering experience across various countries. Passionate about diversity topics and corporate social responsibility, she has experience in both areas, as well as in human resources, digital communication and project management.
